| The Buntingford Karate Club has been running uninterrupted since 1983
and we consider that we are one of the very best Karate clubs in the Hertfordshire
area. We have had people selected for the reserve national squad and we
have been very successful in competition. These days we are more concerned with the Self-Defence side of the art and we are certain that our students are able to look after themselves if they are attacked, as well as being honourable and respectable people. Classes are on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7.30 to 9.30 and cost £4.00p per 2 hour lesson. Instruction is given by both Male and Female black belts in the guise of Bill and Sue Hooper the club owners. We are a sociable club and roughnecks and bully boys just won't fit in.
